1. Information Collection and Use

FolderFlow does not collect any personal data or file telemetry:

• User Files and Content: Any files you import, create, move, categorize, or view within FolderFlow remain solely stored on your device's internal storage. No file contents, metadata, or paths are ever transmitted to any remote server or third party.
• No Account Required: FolderFlow functions completely offline. No user registration, email sign-up, or profile creation is required.
• No Analytics or Tracking: The application does not integrate analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking beacons, or device fingerprinting.

2. Android Permissions and Storage Policy

FolderFlow strictly follows the Google Play Developer Program Policies regarding permissions and storage access:

• Zero Dangerous Storage Permissions: The application does NOT request or use MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, or WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE.
• Storage Access Framework (SAF): When importing files, FolderFlow utilizes the official Android system document picker (SAF), ensuring that the application only accesses files explicitly chosen by the user in that single transaction.
• Sandboxed Local Storage: All organized folders, metadata indexes, and categorized items reside within the application's private, protected local directory (context.filesDir).

3. Automated Categorization and Drag-and-Drop

The automated categorization engine inspects standard file extensions (such as .pdf, .png, .mp3, .mp4, .zip, .kt) locally on the device using a SQLite database (via Android Jetpack Room). No machine learning models communicate with cloud servers, ensuring instant, private, and offline processing.

4. Third-Party Services and SDKs

FolderFlow does not include any third-party SDKs that collect or share user data, including:

• No third-party advertising SDKs
• No behavioral tracking or attribution services
• No external data brokers or sync servers

5. Children's Privacy (Google Play Families Policy)

FolderFlow complies with the Google Play Families Policy. Because the application does not collect, process, or transmit personal data from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

6. User Control and Data Retention

You have full and perpetual control over all your data:

• File Management: You can rename, reclassify, move, or delete files at any time.
• Recycle Bin: Deleted files are moved to the in-app Recycle Bin and can be permanently purged whenever you choose.
• Complete Erasure: Uninstalling the application or clearing app data in Android Settings immediately and irreversibly removes all local application data and database records from the device.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect any platform enhancements or policy updates. Any changes will be reflected with a revised "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
